License Agreement
Legal stuff: This is a legal agreement between you and the owners of LibraryScript.com. This agreement supersedes all other agreements. All rights not explicitly granted to you in this agreement are held by the Owner.
Definitions:
- Owner: LibraryScript.com
- Software: LibraryScript and any related files, packages, data, documentation, updates, databases, license keys, modifications, derivative works of any of the preceding, and any other distributables which the understand is that license of use has been granted.
- LibraryScript.com: Delegates of LibraryScript ("the Software")
- Products: the Software, and any contracts associated with the Software such as, but not limited to, support and upgrade contracts.
Note that the Products include a distribution of CakePHP, which is distributed under the MIT License, you inherit a set of rights on the original source code, and anything which may be subject to CakePHP's licensing.
By purchasing the Products, you are granted a license to make use of the Products for the purposes of running a website on a single Internet domain name. You may be, at the discretion of LibraryScript.com granted the right to make use of the Products on an auxillary domain name for testing and development purposes. You are granted a right to make a reasonable number of backup copies. You are strictly prohibited from distributing the Products to any individual not working on your behalf and for the Internet domain name which you are using the Products on.
You may not remove, hide, change, obfuscate or obscure the "Powered by LibraryScript" textual link in the stock templates. If you create your own template, use a modification, change or modify the template so that the link is obscured, or otherwise result in a situation where the link is not clearly visible on your site, you are expected to make changes to include your own "Powered by LibraryScript" link, similarly or identical to the original. You may, if desired, translate the words "Powered by" in to a foreign, non-English language, if your site is expressed in that language; you may not translate the name of the script.
You may not modify the script to cause damage, intentional or otherwise to LibraryScript.com, it's assets or properties, or any other web server. You may not represent your changes to the script as those of LibraryScript.com. You may not use or modify the script for any illicit or illegal purposes under the law of British Columbia, Canada, New York, United States or your relevant area of jursidiction. You are expected to use your due diligence to respect and abide by the relevant laws.
You may make modifications to the script in any way not prohibited by this license.
You may not distribute the Products, or make any copies of them available to a third party. You may not transfer any, in part or in whole, of the Products to any third party. You may not rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the Products, derivatives of the Products, or copies of any of the aforementioned. You must follow the advisory, instructions or requests of any LibraryScript delegates with regards to your use of the Products.
You may not attempt to get free services, or products from LibraryScript.com, you may not attempt to defraud, cheat, steal or otherwise manipulate LibraryScript.com, it's services and it's delegates. You are expected to keep your contact information within the client area up to date at all times, you may not falsify or intentionally provide false information for this.
With no limitation of anything else in this agreement, LibraryScript.com can choose to revoke your license to use the Products and your license to any offered support for the Products at any time, with or without valid reason; the decision for receiving a refund for the payment in to the Products is entirely at the discretion of LibraryScript.com.
You may not transfer your license or any part of it to any other third party permission from LibraryScript.com. LibraryScript.com reserves the right to stop or deny any license transfer for any reason. A transfer fee may apply to approved license transfers.
LibraryScript.com reserves the right to modify the license agreement at any time. These changes will take effect 168 hours (7 days) from the date of change. Your continued use of the Products after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance and agreement of such changes. You may view the latest copy of the license agreement online on LibraryScript.com's website. If you do not agree with the changes in the license agreement, you agree that your sole and exclusive remedy is terminate this agreement as outlined in the other sections of this agreement.
Either party to this agreement has the right to terminate this agreement within 72 hours of sending e-mail notice to the other party. Upon termination, you agree to destroy any and all copies of the Products and any derivative works thereof.
If you are found to be in violation of this agreement, you will be punished to the maximum extent of possible law and your license to use LibraryScript and the Products will be terminated.You may not engage in any illegal activity while you are licensed to the Products. You may not violate any other legal agreements you have with LibraryScript.com while you are licensed to Products.
IN NO EVENT SHALL LIBRARYSCRIPT.COM BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSS ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS. THE PRODUCTS COMES WITHOUT WARRANTY, EXPLICIT, IMPLICIT OR STATUATORY, EVEN THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
